At Marine Ceramics, safeguarding the health and longevity of your investment is our top priority. The proper care of our ceramic coatings is not just advisable; it’s absolutely vital. Without consistent and meticulous maintenance using Marine Ceramics’ dedicated products, the coatings are at risk of premature failure. It’s crucial to recognize that neglecting proper care can significantly diminish the expected lifespan of the coatings. For optimal results, trust only in our specially formulated preparation and maintenance products. They are the key to not just meeting but exceeding your expectations for enduring protection.

Ceramic Coating Maintenance Schedule

When: Follow the Maintenance Schedule as shown below.

Directions: Refer to the specific instructions for each product as outlined in this Product Guide.

-Wash Boat: Wash boat with our specially formulated, Marine Foam Cannon Soap every 1-2 weeks as needed. Thoroughly rinse boat with fresh water after each use and thoroughly dry.

*Do not use abrasive brushes or wash pads as they may scratch and damage your ceramic coatings. We recommend only using our microfiber wash mitt and towels. Soft bristle brushes are ok to use as well.

-Spot Clean: Spot clean difficult black streaks and stains as needed with our ceramic coating safe, Black Streaks & Stains.

-Ceramic Maintenance*: Apply our Ceramic Shine & Maintenance every 4-6 months to enhance and maintain your ceramic coatings. This step is crucial for the health of your coating.

-Re-apply Ceramic Coating: For best results, re-apply a fresh coating after the expected efficacy period has elapsed to maintain optimal, continuous protection. Between 1-3 years depending on product.

*VERY IMPORTANT: To maintain the durability and health of your ceramic coating, DO NOT skip your ceramic maintenance. Proper maintenance typically exceeds expectations.
