Directions:

1. Surface Preparation:
• Begin by thoroughly cleaning the gelcoat surface to remove any dirt, grime, or contaminants. Ensure the surface is completely dry before proceeding.
2. For Replacing Wet Sanding:
• If you have determined that wet sanding is required for gelcoat correction, apply Marine Wet Sand 1000 directly to the surface with a rotary polisher and desired cutting pad.
• Work the product evenly across the surface using moderate pressure, allowing the compound to effectively smooth out imperfections.
• Check your progress frequently and continue until the desired level of correction is achieved. This process can often eliminate the need for traditional wet sanding.
3. For Immediate Use After Up to 400 Grit Sanding:
• If traditional wet sanding up to 400 grit has been performed, apply Marine Wet Sand 1000 to the surface using a polishing machine or applicator pad.
• Work the product into the surface using moderate pressure, ensuring even coverage.
• Marine Wet Sand 1000 will correct the sanding marks and prepare the surface for further refinement.
