Product Directions

Preparation:

  • Fill the foam cannon reservoir or a 5 gallon wash bucket with water. The recommended foam soap ratio is 2-4 ounces of soap per 32 ounces for the foam cannons, or 5 gallons of water for buckets.
  • Adjust the soap-to-water ratio according to your preference or the level of cleaning required. It's advisable to start with a lower soap concentration and increase if needed.

Dilution:

  • Measure and add the recommended amount of "Marine Foam Cannon Soap" to the water-filled reservoir or bucket.

Mixing:

  • Gently mix or swirl the solution to ensure the soap is thoroughly distributed and dissolved in the water. Avoid creating excessive foam while mixing.

Application:  1st Wash (large contaminant removal)

  • Attach the foam cannon to the pressure washer or garden hose (depending on which foam cannon you have.)
  • Adjust the foam cannon settings to control the soap-to-water ratio and foam thickness based on your preference.
  • Apply the soap solution evenly onto the boat's surface using the foam cannon, covering the entire area to be cleaned.
  • Allow the foam to dwell on the surface for about 5 minutes to effectively loosen and lift dirt, grime, and contaminants.
  • Thoroughly rinse with fresh water.

Washing:  2nd Wash  (surface detailing)

  • Once the boat has been completely rinsed off, you will then apply a second coat of foam to the entire boat (or a section for larger yachts.)
  • Using a soft microfiber mitt, or wash pad, gently scrub and clean the boat’s surface.
  • Work section by section, ensuring thorough cleaning without allowing the soap to dry on the surface.

Rinsing:

  • Rinse off the soap solution completely using a pressure washer or a hose with a gentle spray nozzle attachment.
  • Ensure thorough rinsing to remove all soap residue, especially in crevices and hard-to-reach areas.

Drying:

  • Dry the boat surface using a clean, soft microfiber towel, forced air device, or soft chamois to prevent water spots and damage to your ceramic coated surfaces.
